Hi! I’m Chantal Garneau. My work creates spaces where people can pause, breathe, and reconnect. Through guided forest meditations, group facilitation, and retreats, I invite us to remember that we already belong — to ourselves, to one another, and to the living world.

About Chantal

Place-Based Nature Meditations

I design site-specific guided meditations that invite people to slow down and connect with the natural world around them. Each meditation is created in relationship with the land, blending forest bathing, mindfulness, and a philosophy of interconnectedness to restore connection to self, community, and the web of life.

Becoming Present in Halton Hills is an installation of five guided meditations located in biodiverse natural areas across the community. Signs at each trailhead include QR codes to access the recordings, and the meditations are also available online. This project was recognized as an Ontario Culture Days Award Runner-Up for Best Digital Program in 2021.

Guided Forest Meditations

I lead in-person meditation walks that invite participants to slow down, breathe deeply, and connect with nature. These sessions combine gentle movement, sensory awareness, and mindfulness to leave people feeling grounded, renewed, and connected.

You can hire me guide a group, add depth to a retreat, or create a unique public program in partnership with your organization.

Group Facilitation & Speaking

I facilitate conversations and gatherings that nurture belonging and dialogue. Using circle process and relational awareness practices, I help groups move toward deeper connection, collaboration, and shared insight.

I also speak at events, conferences, and workshops, offering talks and guided practices that weave themes of mindfulness, ecological connection, and systems change.

Retreats & Workshops

I design and guide retreats and workshops that immerse participants in meditation, nature connection, and relational practice. These experiences are tailored to the needs of each group, whether the focus is renewal, collaboration, or leadership development.

Connect

If you’d like to explore working together, whether for a forest meditation, facilitated gathering, or retreat — I’d love to hear from you.
